KAF attaches utmost importance to community building in its initiatives. Since the idea of ‘community’ lies at the heart of its interventions, KAF has made a profound impact on community building through its diverse activities and initiatives.
These events not only provide young girls with opportunities to develop their skills but also bring together families and community members to support and celebrate their achievements. Initiatives like the art therapy sessions, gender-based violence workshops, and well-being activities further strengthen communal bonds by addressing critical social issues and promoting collective well-being.

Sporting for Inclusion
The male and female ratio of the population in Pakistan is almost 50:50 and Chitral is no exception. Besides, the communities living in Chitral are divided into different clans, casts, sects and religions.
By acknowledging the importance and need for creating an inclusive society, KAF seeks to promote inclusion through a wide array of activities, ensuring that sports and empowerment initiatives benefit the entire community.
Similarly, by encouraging boys to participate in sports alongside girls, KAF fosters a culture of gender equality and mutual respect. Likewise, male coaches play a crucial role in training and mentoring female athletes, demonstrating a collaborative approach to breaking gender barriers.
